The University of Pretoria (UP) will virtually host delegates from around the world for its fourth annual Fully Online Distance Education Symposium (FODES) from 17-18 October 2024.
The call for abstracts to present at the symposium is now open and will close on 31 July 2024. This year's theme is 'Surfing the wave: Navigating online education in the age of AI.'
FODES is a virtual symposium where participants can share, contribute, and reflect on the innovative use of e-learning tools, pedagogical approaches, online facilitation, student experience, retention and attrition rates, and design and development in the online environment. The symposium is hosted by UP's Comprehensive Online Education Services (COES), which is responsible for the University's UPOnline offering.
