Totsie Memela

Totsie Memela is the CEO of the South African Social Security Agency and was previously the Chief Strategist for Higher Ed Partners to grow the business to reach greater Africa. She currently serves as an independent director. Her previous experience includes CEO of WDB, CEO of Eduloan\Fundi, and MD of Postbank. She is an experienced banker; development activist and senior business operations strategist in financial services, not-for-profit operations and postal services sectors. Totsie holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Zimbabwe and is a graduate of the University of Swaziland. She has attended a range of executive development programmes with Wits/Harvard Business School; Duke/UCT and was amongst the first fellows of the IWF global leadership programme.
